We're moss removal experts and we know that the UK climate is a perfect breeding ground for moss, which can appear on many roofs and grows steadily. Concrete-style tiles are most prone. Often it's not until you start to see clumps that you realise the possible damage. Excess moss holds rainwater, which increases roof weight; in winter that moisture freezes and expands, cracking or loosening tiles. Clumps eventually roll into gutters — creating yet another problem.

We manually scrape the moss from the roof until every nook and cranny is cleared. Afterwards, the whole roof is sprayed with an anti-moss treatment to slow down regrowth. This is the preferred method over chemical-only treatments that often leave a lot more mess.
